Several Highway Projects Being Done Throughout Sanilac County

If motorists think there is a lot of highway work going on in Sanilac County, they are right.
The county's road commission is doing 10 highway projects that total about $7 million.
The roadwork to be done includes:
Parisville Road, doing a recycle and overlay, of .98 miles at a cost of $282,742.
Wheeler Road will have recycling and overlay done to 3.01 miles at a cost of $1,005,071.
Bad Axe Road will have recycling and overlay done to 1.03 miles at a cost of $295,188.
On Shephard Road, there will be recycling of overlay for 2 miles at a cost of $$636,393.
Forester Road will have an overlay done on 5.49 miles at a cost of $568,190.
Stilson Road will have double chip seal and fog seal work done to 2.51 miles at a cost of $149,500.
On Peck Road there will be double chip seal and fog sealing done to 4.88 miles at a cost of $304,977.
French Line Road will have single chip seal and overlay done to 6.97 miles at a cost of $1,680,970.
County Farm Road will receive single chip seal and fog seal for 5.49 miles at a cost of $177,149.
Wheeler Road will have double chip seal and fog seal done for 4.06 miles at a cost of $252,386.
