Roderick Wright Accepts Plea Offer In Felony Case

In Huron County District Court, Judge Ferris presided over the cases of the People of the State of Michigan versus Roderick Lee Wright. Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Alexander Pahany represented the people, while Attorney Elizabeth Weisenbach represented Mr. Wright.

For the felony file, Mr. Wright waived his preliminary examination and will plead guilty to the charge via circuit court arraignment. The prosecution offered a 1 year delayed sentence, provided Mr. Wright completes all terms of the delay, with the conviction to enter as an attempt Resisting and Obstructing. Mr. Wright agreed to revoke his bond for 45 days during this period. The court bound this matter over to the circuit court for arraignment on June 29th, with bond continuing as previously set.
