Saginaw Township Woman Burned In Late-Night House Fire

A Saginaw Township woman was hospitalized following a fire that tore through her home late Sunday night. Fire crews were called to the 5500 block of Baines Drive shortly before midnight and arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames.

The woman, who had suffered burn injuries, was found outside the residence and taken to Hurley Medical Center in Flint for treatment. Her condition was not immediately available.

The blaze caused extensive damage to the home and a vehicle in the driveway. Two of the woman's cats remain unaccounted for, and investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
