Rains Caused a Sewage Discharge in Brown City

Brown City authorities issued a notice there was a discharge of sewage because of the recent rains.

It is estimated about 10,000 gallons of partially treated sewage overflowed on Third Street between Walter and Kohler streets and went into the ditches there.

As required, the city notified the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), and the health department.
