Hearing Scheduled for a Proposed Salvage Business in Kingston

The village of Kingston's Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on April 13 at the village office at 3655 Ross St.

The hearing is regarding a request to operate a salvage and scrap business at 6145 State St.

To do that, the property will have to be rezoned from commercial retail to general industrial if the request to operate the business is approved.

Property owners within 300 feet of that location have been notified of the hearing.

Written comments can be mailed to the clerk at the village hall and can be placed in the dropbox at the village hall.
