Single Vehicle Crash On Sebewaing Road

Authorities in Huron County are reporting a single-vehicle crash that occurred just after midnight on March 26th, 2026.
The incident happened around 12:10 a.m. on Sebewaing Road. According to the report, a 2017 Buick Enclave was traveling eastbound when the driver fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle crossed the center line, left the roadway, and entered a ditch before striking an embankment.
Deputies say both front airbags deployed during the crash. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured.
Road conditions were reported as wet, with cloudy weather at the time of the crash. The posted speed limit in the area is 50 miles per hour, and investigators indicate no alcohol or drug involvement.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was privately owned. No other vehicles were involved.
