Shane Lee Cook Jr. appeared again in court on new charges, where he was formally charged with the felony offense of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing a police officer.

This serious charge could lead to a maximum of two years in prison or a $2,000 fine.

During the hearing, Cook confirmed his understanding of both the charges and his constitutional rights.

Looking ahead, a probable cause conference is scheduled for February 12th at 9 AM, followed by a preliminary examination on February 23rd at 3 PM.

Finally, Mr. Cook's bond was set at $50,000, 10%, though it has not yet been posted.
