During the January Meeting of the Owendale-Gagetown School District's Board of Education they did an organization.
The board selected Todd McKnight as the board's president, and Julie Good as vice president.
The board selected Lyndsay Parker as secretary and Danielle Messing as treasurer.
Committee assignments were also done.
Serving on the negotiation committee will be Todd McKnight, Julie Good, and Tom Jeffery.
On the budget and finance committee, those who will be serving are Todd McKnight, Danielle Messing, and Kendra Kretzschmer.
Serving on the policy and bylaw committee are Todd McKnight, Katie Wood, and Kendra Kretzschmer.
Serving on the transportation, buildings and grounds committee are Julie Good, Todd McKnight, and Danielle Messing.
Those serving on the grievance committee will be Tom Jeffry, Katie Wood, and Danielle Messing.
Serving on the personnel committee Katie Wood, Kendra Kretzschmer, and Lyndsay Parker; serving on the athletic committee are Danielle Messing, Lyndsay Parker.
There was also a closed session to do an evaluation of Superintendent Nicholas Huston for over one hour.
When the board came back into open session, no information was provide on the evaluation.
In other action, the board approved some new hires.
The new hires include Rodney Terwilliger as a first-grade teacher, Kimberly Howell as a special education paraprofessional, and Boyd Evans was hired as a bus aide.
