Kelly Jo Clark Accepts Plea Deal On Charges Of Embezzlement

In court today, Kelly Jo Clark, facing charges of embezzling between $50,000 and $100,000, formally waived her right to a preliminary examination.

The judge confirmed Ms. Clark's decision was made knowingly and voluntarily after explaining her right to a hearing where prosecutors would have to prove probable cause.

With the preliminary examination waived, her case is now bound over to the circuit court.

Ms. Clark's arraignment is scheduled for March 9th, 2026, at 9 AM. Bond will continue as previously ordered.
