Bay County Man Dies Days After Broadway Avenue Crash

A 51 year old Bay County man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Bay City late last week.

Police say Scott Martin Stevenson was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe on Broadway Avenue around 7:20 p.m. Thursday when the SUV left the roadway and struck a tree.

Stevenson and his passenger were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

Authorities confirmed Stevenson died Saturday morning from his injuries.

Police believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. The passenger's condition was not available as of Monday.
