In a recent court hearing, Anita Patterson pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge stemming from an incident on March 12th, 2025. The case, which involved a verbal confrontation that escalated to physical contact outside a residence, resulted in a delay of sentence with probation conditions.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Patterson must comply with strict probation requirements, including avoiding any assaultive behavior, maintaining no contact with the victim, and notifying her probation officer of any changes to her address or employment. She is also required to complete court-ordered classes and may face a probation violation hearing if any conditions are breached.
Financial penalties totaling $600 were imposed, including fines and court costs, with payment due by May 1st, 2026. A follow-up review hearing is scheduled for May 15th, 2026, to assess compliance and potentially finalize the case.
