A Huron County woman, Alvia Ann Marie Elenbaum, has pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle while visibly impaired following a November 2025 accident. Under a plea agreement, two additional charges were dismissed.
During the hearing, the court confirmed that Elenbaum voluntarily entered her guilty plea, acknowledging a blood alcohol content of 0.139 at the time of the crash near Caseville and Pigeon Roads. She waived her trial rights and confirmed the plea was made without coercion.
Elenbaum was sentenced to 12 months of probation, during which she must comply with standard legal and reporting requirements, continue counseling, abstain from alcohol and controlled substances, and submit to random drug and alcohol testing. She is also required to perform 30 hours of community service and pay $765 in fines and fees after applying her bond.
The court noted that Elenbaum may be eligible for early probation discharge if she complies with all terms. License sanctions will be determined separately by the Secretary of State.
