Saginaw Man Charged In Alleged Online Child Exploitation Case

A 26 year old Saginaw man has been charged following a Michigan State Police investigation into alleged online child exploitation. Authorities say Luke Patrick Young voluntarily surrendered after investigators recovered digital evidence from his residence.

According to police, the case began after they determined that files involving child sexually abusive material were being shared online. Young now faces two felony counts related to aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, along with two additional charges for using a computer in the commission of a crime.

Young was formally arraigned on January 9th in Saginaw's 70th District Court.
