Fire At AutoKinition Facility In Elkton

A fire broke out yesterday at the AutoKinition facility in Elkton, Michigan. According to initial reports, the blaze originated underneath one of the press machines in the pit area of the shop.

Fire crews responded promptly, and although the fire took several hours to fully extinguish, it was quickly contained, preventing further spread to the rest of the building.

Officials say the cause of the fire remains unknown and is currently under active investigation by the appropriate authorities. No additional details about injuries or property damage have been released at this time.
