Filion Man Receives Delayed Sentence In Child Abuse Case

Nathan A. Jones of Filion was re-arraigned Monday on charges of child abuse third degree and domestic violence, habitual second offense.

Jones entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors for a one-year delayed sentence.

Under the agreement, the prosecutor will dismiss the domestic violence charge and the habitual second offense designation.

Jones is scheduled for sentencing on March 9th, 2026, at 9 a.m.

His bond remains as previously set.
