Sebewaing DPW Completed Several Street and Storm Drain Projects

The Sebewaing Village DPW Department has completed several street projects over the last month.
East and West Main Street, Grove Street, and McKay Street have each has asphalted, and the shoulders on those streets were each backfilled with dirt and grass seed.
There were multiple bridge signs taken down on each corner of the Center Street bridge and were replaced with four new signs.
The storm sewer catch basin on West Sebewaing Street was cleaned out, the storm sewer on Main Street was cleaned out, the storm sewer on Fourth Street was cleaned, and the storm sewer on Main Street was cleaned out from East Sebewaing Street through St. John's Cemetery almost to the outlet.
However, the DPW crew felt that a camera crew should come in with a root cutter as well to check the lines.
The department also trimmed around signs that were overgrown with brush and weeds.
There were also 44 loads of brush picked up.
