Three Lapeer Schools Will Have Contested Board Seats in November

There will be some contested board of education seats to fill in Lapeer County:
Almont School District:
The Almont Community School District has one six-year term open, and there are two four-year terms open for the board of education. There are also two partial terms open.
There are no contested seats.
Dryden Community School District:
In the Dryden School District there are three, six-year seats on the board of education open with four candidates running.
There is one partial term expiring with one candidate running.
There will be a contested race here.
Imlay City Community School District:
Imlay City School has three, six-year terms open with five candidates running.
Lapeer Community School District:
Lapeer Schools has three, six year board of education seats open with five candidates running so there will be a contested race.
North Branch Area Schools:
North Branch Schools has two, six-year board of education seats open with two candidates.
