Sanilac County Commissioners to Meet Tuesday

The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in room 105, 60 West Sanilac Ave., Sandusky.

According to the preliminary agenda, commissioners are expected to interview two candidates for the Veteran Affairs Committee for a four year term, to make an appointment to the Health and Human Services Board for a three-year term, and to present a resolution honoring a retiring veteran employee for years of service.

The board is also expected to approve an agreement for the medical examiner, and to post and fill a position in the treasurer's office.

Also, there will be a finance and administrative committee meeting following the regular county meeting.

County offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to observe Veterans Day.
