Huron County Single Vehicle Crash On Jurgess Road

A single-vehicle crash in Huron County Wednesday afternoon ended with a farm truck in a roadside ditch.
According to a Huron County Sheriff Department crash report, the accident happened Wednesday, October 14th, at approximately 2:14 p.m. on Jurgess Road, about half a mile north of Huron Line Road in Bingham Township.
Investigators say a 1990 red Ford L-Series heavy truck was traveling southbound on Jurgess Road when it entered a ditch along the west side of the narrow dirt roadway and came to rest on its passenger side.
The truck was driven by a 34 year old Ubly man, who was wearing a seat belt at the time.
No injuries were reported, and authorities indicated that neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the crash.
The truck sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
The Huron County Sheriff's Office investigated the accident.
