Wyatt Joseph Tucker Case To Proceed To Trial November 10th

A final pre-trial hearing was held today in the case of People of the State of Michigan versus Wyatt Joseph Tucker.
During the proceedings, Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Alexander Pahany placed the prosecution's offer on the record, which requires a plea of guilty as charged. The prosecution stated they would object to sentencing under the domestic violence deferred statute. Defense attorney Michelle Siev confirmed this understanding of the offer, noting that Mr. Tucker has rejected it and intends to proceed to a jury trial.
Regarding discovery, the defense confirmed receipt of materials. The prosecution noted that domestic violence standard notices are being filed today, remaining within statutory deadlines.
The court confirmed the jury trial is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th, at 9:00 a.m. No further motions were anticipated by either party.
