A Saginaw Township car dealership traded service work for community service Wednesday evening, as five local organizations teamed up for an evening of fundraising and entertainment.
The Saginaw Township Business Association hosted its second annual wine tasting fundraiser from six until eight at McDonald GMC on State Street.
The dealership's service bays became an entertainment venue featuring dueling pianos, wine tasting, food, raffles and auctions.
Money raised is to be divided equally among the East Side Soup Kitchen, Underground Railroad, Undercover Angels Animal Rescue, Saginaw Area Fireworks and the township's business association.
Organizers said the event offered residents an opportunity to support several community causes with a single donation.
Paid admission included food and three wine samples, with additional tasting tickets available for purchase.
