Tuscola Township is Planning Road Millage Request

The Tuscola Township Board of Trustees are planning on asking voters to approve a millage request this summer.

The board approved having their legal counsel draw up ballot language to request a road millage for the coming August Primary Election.

The board also approved an extension with Spicer Engineering for the continuing work that is being done on the wastewater project between the township and City of Vassar.

The extension set a cap of $5,000 for the project.

In other money matters, there will be a public hearing on the proposed 2026 - 2027 budget for 6 p.m. on Monday, March 9, and the township will now accept credit cards for tax payments.
