Free Food Distribution Saturday in Lapeer

There will be a free food distribution in Lapeer County Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.,

The distribution will be at the Lapeer Center Building at 425 County Center St. in Lapeer.

A Eastern Michigan Food Bank truck filled with pallets of non-perishable food items and some fresh food will be distributed by first come, first serve.

There is also a great need for volunteers to help with distribution and loading the food into cars. Volunteers should be on hand at 8:30 a.m., and they can call 810-348-8664 to register to help.
