Grant Township Approves all of its Fire Contracts

All of the fire contracts are in place to have Grant Township residents protected for the coming year.

The township's trustees approved the fire contract with Brookfield Township, the Oliver Fire Department, and the Elmwood/Gagetown Fire Department for fire protection services.

The Brookfield Fire Department covers 19 sections of the township at a rate of $650 per section.

The total cost for that contract is $12,350.

The Oliver Fire Department covers three sections of Grant Township at a cost of $700 per section. The total cost is $2,100 for that contract.

The township also contracts with the Elmwood/Gagetown Fire Department at a cost of $2,625.
