City of Caseville is Increasing Water Rates

Some Huron County residents will be paying a little more for water when the new year starts.

The Caseville City Council approved increasing the rate for water for Caseville Township residents and for Pigeon residents.

Starting on Jan. 1, 2026, the rate will be $10 per thousand used.

The rate change will show on the April 1, 2026 water bill.

In other matters, the council appointed Ken Rathje to the Harbor Commission. His term will end in November, 2026.

According to city Manager Jamie Learman, the credit card resolution was tabled for more information, and the city needs a volunteer to serve on the planning commission.
