Blumfield Township Planning to Replace Tube

The Blumfield Township Board of Trustees approved one road project during their last meeting.

Approval was given to replace the tube on Reimer Road. The estimated cost to do that work is $22,000.

The board also approved dissolving the Road Advisory Committee because the township no longer collects a millage for roads since the county millage passed.

During the meeting, it was announced that property tax payments are due by Feb. 17.

Also, it was announced that severe weather updates for trash pickup can be found on NBC25, WEYI25, and Fox 66 or on the Mid-Michigan Waste Authority's facebook page.
