Felony Arrest Warrant Served On December 20th

A Huron County man was taken into custody over the weekend on a felony arrest warrant after deputies located him at a residence in Bad Axe.
Huron County sheriff's deputies went to a Bad Axe home on December 20th, 2025, to serve a felony arrest warrant issued out of Huron County for failure to appear in court.
Deputies made contact with a woman at the residence, she told them he was in a shed on the property where they heard a man and woman arguing inside.
Upon knocking, a woman answered and said he wasn't there. But the Deputies ordered the man out and found him lying on a bed inside the shed, where he was informed he was under arrest on the outstanding warrant, for failure to appear for his court date.
He was handcuffed, searched with no contraband found, and transported to the Huron County Jail, then turned over to corrections staff without further incident.
