AAA Launches Holiday Season Impaired Driver Assistance Program

The Auto Club Group has announced the return of its holiday initiative designed to prevent drunk driving incidents across Michigan.
The complimentary transportation service begins Wednesday evening, December 24th, 2025, at 6:00 PM and continues until early Friday morning, January 2nd, 2026, at 6:00 AM.
The program offers confidential transportation for individuals who are unable to drive safely, along with vehicle towing services to a secure destination up to 10 miles away.
Anyone can access the service by calling (855) 2-TOW-2-GO, regardless of AAA membership status.
According to Adrienne Woodland, who represents AAA - The Auto Club Group, the initiative serves as an emergency option when primary safety plans - such as arranging a sober driver beforehand or using transportation network services - are unavailable.
Woodland emphasized that festive celebrations during this time of year often coincide with increased incidents of driving under the influence.
She encouraged Michigan motorists to make advance arrangements for safe transportation and highlighted that the program represents AAA's contribution toward ensuring community members can celebrate with family without risking road safety.
