The Pigeon Village Council approved the recommendation of the recreation committee about how an annual event should operate.
Each Summer the Johnny T. Classic fundraiser for Pigeon's Little League is held in the Pigeon Recreational Park at 107 School St.
It was brought to the attention of the council about the number of food vendors during the event, and it was suggested to limit them.
The council approved the recommendation in order to allow the Little League to operate food concessions with the proceeds going to support the local Little League program.
The tournament was created for baseball and softball teams to play.
In other village matters, Police Chief Adam Csanyi reported part-time police officer Erin Trost had been sworn in and is working.
