Caro District Library Received Funding from the Tuscola Foundation

Twice a year, the Tuscola County Community Foundation distributes funding for worthwhile requests.
During the last round of donations, the foundation awarded funding from the Banks Fund to the Caro Area District Library.
One of the grants the library received will be used to purchase and install an adult size changing table in the public bathrooms. The other grant that was awarded will be used to buy a commercial refrigerator for the Thumb Blessing Box program.
The refrigerator will be housed in the library's lobby so the community can donate food that needs to be refrigerated.
The Caro Area District Library is located at 840 West Frank St.
Also, under another funding program, the library received a substantial grant to have the elevator upgraded.
