A single lottery ticket sold in Lapeer County is now worth nearly $4 million following Saturday night's drawing.

The Michigan Lottery says the winning Lotto 47 ticket was purchased at Bryan's Market on North Lapeer Road in North Branch. The ticket matched all six numbers - 17, 25, 34, 37, 39, and 42 - to claim the $3.98 million jackpot.

It marks the first Lotto 47 jackpot win of 2026. The previous jackpot winner was recorded in December, when a record prize of more than $32 million was awarded.

As of Monday morning, no one had stepped forward to claim the North Branch prize. Lottery officials say the winner should contact the Michigan Lottery's Player Relations Division to schedule an appointment. The ticket holder has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.

Lotto 47 drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday. Players choose six numbers between 1 and 47 for a chance at a jackpot that starts at $1 million and grows until it is won. Tickets cost one dollar, with optional add-on features available for an additional charge.
