Road Rage Alleged Suspect Due in Court October 16th

The alleged perpetrator of road rage will remain in jail after the judge denied lowering his bond.

Shaun Wagner, 35, Peck, who is being held on a $500,000 bond, is scheduled for a probable cause hearing at 9 a.m. on Oct. 16.

Wagner is a suspect in a road rage incident that happened on Sept. 16 on Van Dyke Road between Newark Road where shots were fired at a vehicle driven by a Metamora man.

Wagner is charged with: assault with intent to murder, which is a felony that would mean life in prison if convicted.

He is also charged with: use of a firearm during commission of a felony which is a mandatory two-year consecutive sentence.

Use of a firearm during the commission of a felony is a 10-year felony.

Discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle is a 10-year felony.

And, reckless driving which is a misdemeanor.
