Huron County Court Modifies Bond In Kylee Kaye Richmond Case

A Huron County judge has modified bond conditions for Kylee Kaye Richmond, allowing limited contact with the victim to facilitate childcare.
During the hearing, defense attorney Dallas Rooney argued that the existing no-contact order hindered the parents' ability to coordinate care for their infant.
While the prosecution noted that the nature of the offense initially warranted keeping the order in place, they confirmed the victim, Mr. Leese, was comfortable with the modification.
Judge Ferris granted the motion, authorizing "peaceable contact" strictly for the purpose of exchanging the child.
All communication, only regarding the child, must be conducted through a parenting app, such as OurFamilyWizard.
The court also approved a specific accommodation allowing Richmond to remain in the vicinity to breastfeed the infant during these exchanges.
The judge issued a strict warning that the parties are not to socialize, and any threatening behavior or altercations will result in immediate repercussions.
