Two Vehicle Collision In Meade Township On Sunday Afternoon

A two-vehicle crash was reported in Meade Township Sunday afternoon, September 27.
According to the Huron County Sheriff's Office crash report, the collision happened at about 1:28 p.m. on Kinde Road, approximately 600 feet east of Pinnebog Road.
Investigators say a 2013 Ford F-350 pickup was traveling east on Kinde Road when a 2005 red Kia Rio attempted a U-turn. The report states the Kia failed to yield and struck the Ford.
The pickup sustained damage to the front-right corner and side, while the Kia sustained front-center damage. Both vehicles were listed with functional damage.
The report indicates the pickup had one occupant and the Kia had two occupants. No injuries were reported, and no ambulance was required.
Road conditions were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash. The posted speed limit in the area is 35 miles per hour.
