WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM EST TUESDAY...

WHAT - Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 11 to 16   inches. Local accumulations of up to 20 inches will be possible.

WHERE - Huron County.

WHEN - Until 4 PM EST Tuesday.

IMPACTS - Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The   hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Potential for significant drifting along the lakeshore.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS - This will be a long duration event, but   some uncertainty remains on how long into Tuesday heavier snow squalls will persist. If lake effect bands do hold across portions of the area as opposed to transitioning offshore, then two day total snowfall in excess of 20 inches is not out of the question.
