Bryan McWherter Reaches A Plea Deal With Regards To His Probation Violation

Bryan McWherter appeared in court Monday, December 1st, for a probation violation hearing.

During the proceeding, he accepted a plea agreement with prosecutors and agreed to plead no contest to a charge of handgun possession stemming from a September 25th incident. According to a Bad Axe Police Department report, investigators had obtained a photograph showing McWherter holding the firearm.

McWherter is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on January 26th at 9 a.m.

His bond was revoked pending that hearing.
