Huron Area Tech Center Students Make An Outstanding Float For "Tidings And Tinsel"

Huron Area Tech Center (HATC) students participated in the Bad Axe "Tidings and Tinsel" parade on November 29th, 2025, showcasing a creative "Polar Express" float as part of the holiday festivities.

Students from several HATC programs collaborated to design and build the float, spreading holiday cheer throughout the community with the message, "BELIEVE in your future opportunities at the HATC".

The parade featured local schools, organizations, and businesses, and included a tree-lighting, candy distribution, and recognition for outstanding floats - all in spite of cold weather and flurries.

The HATC Polar Express was highlighted for its festive spirit and teamwork, exemplifying the active involvement of students in community events.
