Michigan's Whitmer, an alum parent, is backing the Wolverines as they go for a fifth straight win over the Buckeyes on November 29th and is urging residents to wear maize and blue for the rivalry matchup. DeWine is voicing equal confidence in Ohio State, praising the Buckeyes' toughness ahead of "The Game."

Under the wager, both governors are staking signature snacks from their states, with Whitmer offering several Michigan-made potato chip brands and DeWine putting up multiple Ohio chip makers along with Marsha's Homemade Buckeyes candy. The winning state will claim bragging rights and a shipment of the other side's treats.
