Port Crescent State Park taking reservations (Huron County)

Although winter has arrived, the Port Crescent State Park, which is near Port Austin, is ready for campers.
The park opened on Tuesday (Jan. 7) and is ready to take reservations for the camping season.
However, the finishing touches on road improvements, water and sewer lines, electrical systems, a sanitation station, road and parking lot improvements are in the process of being done.
Overall more than $4.95 million worth of improvements will have been done to the park.
Because of that, the park's campground is closed to complete the renovations, but on June 26 the park will be ready for camping between June 27 and Oct 15.
Reservations are being taken for when the park is fully open for guests.
