This year's annual "State Park Madness" has kicked off, with voting for YOUR favorite Michigan state parks already underway!
Hosted by Michigan's Department of Natural Resources, the State Park Madness is modeled after the NCAA's "March Madness", with the public's votes determining which park wins. Huron County's own beloved Port Crescent State Park is on the bracket, hoping to stay in the race all the way to the Championship.
You can cast your votes by visiting the DNR's Facebook page, where the "Heart" or "Care" responses represent your vote for the respective park. Physical voting is also an option, at the DNR Outdoor Adventure Center (Detroit). Brackets are updated on Saturdays, with the winning park receiving not only a trophy, but the bragging rights of being 2025's Park Madness Champions. Go cast your vote, today!
