After winning the bid to serve as Sanilac County's latest prosecuting attorney, former Chief Assistant Prosecutor for the County, Mark Davidson, takes the reins.
Davidson's personal, professional and educational experiences are sure to be of great assistance in his new role. Davidson has earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from MSU in 1982, and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate in 1987 from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was then admitted to the Michigan Bar in '88. Davidson has also spent extensive time working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent, conducting investigations in white collar crime, organized crime and national security/terrorism to summarize.
To get to know Mark outside of work, the Peck native has served on the Sandusky Community Schools' board from 2009 to 2020, as a member and President. He has coached and volunteered for youth sports in Sandusky for 15 years, and he is also a member of the Sandusky Lions Club now for 30 years.
Mark Davidson's professionalism, his hard-earned experience and expertise, and his legitimate desire to serve Sanilac County will all be at the forefront of his approach to his newest role.
