HDC Doing Backpack Distributions with School Supplies

The three Human Development Commissions (EDC) in the Thumb will be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies.
The distributions will be done from 1 to 3 p.m., each day at three different distribution sites in three counties.
There will be a distribution today (Aug. 4) at the park in the city of Bad Axe.
On Thursday, Aug. 6, there will be a distribution at the Diamond Trail Park in Sandusky.
There will be a distribution on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at Cramton Park in Lapeer.
Supplies are limited and the child must be present to receive a backpack.
There is no registration or income verification or proof of residency to participate.
Besides handing out backpacks at the event sites, there will be games, prizes, activities, face painting and more.
