New Restroom Facility Planned for St Clair Palmer Park

The St. Clair City Council approved an upgrade to a park.
Earlier this month, the council approved spending $200,000 to build a new restroom at Palmer Park.
The plan is to construct a facility with two restrooms that will also have a bottle-filling station as well as a bike repair station.
The funds to do that project comes from a variety of sources. Donations came from the Palmer Park, the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation, St. Clair County Community Foundation, and others.
The construction of the restrooms is expected to be placed were the port-a-johns are located, but that has not been officially decided yet.
The design and plan for the new restroom are still being developed and will soon be presented to the council.
The plan is to have the facility completed and ready to be used yet this year.
