Sanilac Commissioners to Review Drug Task Force Report

The Sanilac County Board of Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 3 at 60 West Sanilac in room 105, Sandusky.
According to the preliminary agenda, commissioners are expected to receive the annual report from the Sanilac County Task Force, present a resolution honoring the retirement of two members of the sheriff department, and to approve some purchases for improvements to some offices.
There will be a finance and administrative committee meeting following the board meeting.
There are several items that are expected to be addressed during that meeting.
The sheriff will be requesting approval to send a corrections deputy and a new hire to the Oakland Community College Police Academy at a cost of $15,200.
The committee is also expected to review proposed language for a millage to support the county's parks.
