City of Bad Axe hold Public Hearing to discuss possible Frankenmuth Credit Union site - video

The City of Bad Axe held a Public Hearing on Monday to discuss the possible site on North Van Dyke Road for a Frankenmuth Credit Union. The site is located between Tractor Supply and McVey Insurance Agency. As of right now, the proposed 3,400 square foot building would have adequate parking and share a driveway with Tractor Supply, with the possibility of adding a second driveway. The plan was approved, but with a contingent that M-Dot give approval for building signs and lighting, and that the trees on the property be replaced with shrubs so everyone has better visibility of both the business and traffic. This petition is still in the planning stages, and no dates have yet been set.
