Bills and Resolutions Approved at Harbor Beach City Council Meeting- Video

The Harbor Beach City Council Meeting provided bills, resolutions and reports.
Four bills were approved by the council. The Harbor Beach Area Fire Department Annual Subsidy of $71,400, the Village Chimney and Hearth for $2,609.15, Townley Engineering LLC for $11,755, and Zimmer Roofing & Construction, LTD for $134,621.
The Harbor Beach Fire Department and Eastern Huron Ambulance Service provided annual reports. Most notably, the Fire Department reported a response time of 100 seconds or less. The Ambulance service had less calls and patients than in 2018.
Also, six resolutions were approved.
- A contract for Biosolids Hauling for the WWTP
- A Notice of a Public Hearing for the 2020-2021 Budget
- Hiring a Contractor to Install Seawall at the Marina
- A Purchase of Materials for Installation of Seawall at the Marina
- An Application for Procedures and Application for Property Tax Relief for 2020 Property Guidelines
- Approving the 2020 Poverty Guidelines
The next meeting for the Harbor Beach City Council, which will include the Public Hearing for the 2020-2021 Budget, will take place on March 2nd at 7PM.
