THE CEREMONIAL GROUND BREAKING FOR A NEW ELEMENTARY WING WAS HELD FRIDAY MORNING AT THE CASEVILLE SCHOOLS.   WHEN COMPLETED THE WING WILL PROVIDE A MODERN LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES PREKINDERGARTEN THROUGH FIFTH GRADE.   THE WING IS EXPECTED TO OPEN THIS SEPTEMBER. SUPERINTENDENT KENNETH J. EWALD ALONG WITH A NUMBER OF GUEST SPEAKERS PARTICIPATED IN THE CEREMONY. ALSO SPEAKING WERE CASEVILLE MAYOR PATRICIA DesJARDINS, COUNTY COMMISSIONER CLARK ELFTMAN, STATE REPRESENTATIVE TERRY BROWN AND ED SMITH WHO IS FROM CANDICE MILLERS OFFICE.   MIKE HAMMIS, THE PROJECT MANAGER FROM R.C. HENDRICKS CONSTRUCTION WAS ALSO ON HAND. THE PLANNING AND DESIGN FOR THE WORK OCCURRED OVER AN 18 MONTH PERIOD.
