New Huron and Tuscola Sheriff Airboat Commissioned video

    The official commissioning for a new airboat patrol boat was held Thursday morning at the Filion Road Public Access Site near Bay Port. It was commissioned into service with the name “Sheriffs’ Endeavor" as a nod to members of the Huron and Tuscola County Sheriff's Offices working together to make the project a reality. In August of last year, the airboat was ordered from Midwest Rescue Airboats in Kansas. It took three months to construct and was delivered on February 2nd.
