A home video monitoring system helps St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office get help from public - video

    St. Clair County Sheriffs Deputies were called to the 3000 block of Carrigan Road in Fort Gratiot Township Monday to take a report on a home invasion. The homeowner told deputies he had gone to work around 6:00 that morning and when he returned in the evening discovered the break-in. The homeowner had a surveillance camera set up in his living room and provided the video to the Sheriff’s Office. With help from the public through their Facebook page, the sheriffs department was able to identify the suspect, and move the investigation forward.
