Information sought on trash dumping case

Littering is against the law, especially as much trash that was recently dumped in Sanilac in Buel Township.

The Sanilac County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in identifying the person and/or persons who dumped the trash.

Several bags of trash were dumped on Wagner Road south of Marlette Road.

The sheriff's department is asking for anyone who has information on the incident to call Sgt. Shelly Park at 810-648-5644, or to call Sanilac County Central Dispatch at 810-648-2000.

Also, information can be submitted using the tip through the sheriff's office smartphone application.
